Being Exporter, a leading export guidance platform, recently organized a two-day national agri-export event in Nashik, aimed at equipping aspiring exporters with practical knowledge and real-world exposure to tap into India’s agro-export potential.
The event saw participation from 155 exporters and aspiring exporters from across India. On the first day, participants engaged in intensive training sessions focused on pitching agro commodities, connecting with global buyers, building trust, and developing scalable business models. Group activities enabled attendees to draft personalized export roadmaps tailored to their business goals.
Day two included field visits to farmers’ markets, packaging units, warehouses, and cold storage facilities in Nashik. This on-ground experience offered participants a complete view of the export supply chain—from farm to shipment. Farmers highlighted the need for direct partnerships with exporters, citing concerns about low demand and price instability.
Bhagirath Goswami, Founder of Being Exporter, stated, “Agri exports hold tremendous potential. With the right knowledge and infrastructure, exporters and farmers can mutually benefit. This event helps bridge that gap and creates global opportunities for Indian entrepreneurs while uplifting the farming community.”
The event emphasized three pillars for successful agri-exports: farmers, infrastructure, and exporters. Participants hailed the experience as a key confidence booster, marking a significant step in scaling their export ventures.
