Event promises world-class esports action from November 24 to December 14

StarLadder has officially announced that it will host the second Counter-Strike 2 Major of 2025 in Budapest, with the Playoff stage taking place at the city’s massive 20,000-seat MVM Dome. The tournament will run from November 24 to December 14, featuring 32 of the world’s best CS2 teams battling for a $1.25 million prize pool and one of esports’ most coveted titles.
The early stages will be held at the MTK Sportpark, a 2,000-seat, upgraded venue tailored for live esports viewing. The action then moves to the MVM Dome from December 11 to 14 for the Grand Finals, promising a stadium-scale spectacle with immersive lighting, record-breaking LED displays, and arena-wide special effects.
Set against Budapest’s festive winter season, the event offers fans a double treat—elite Counter-Strike competition and a chance to explore one of Europe’s most magical cities during the holidays.
Roman Romantsov, CEO of StarLadder, said, “Hosting another Major is an incredible honor. Budapest gives us the perfect stage to push the boundaries of live CS2 events. We invite every Counter-Strike fan to be part of this iconic moment.”
