Electric scooter manufacturer River Mobility has crossed the 100-showroom milestone in India within three years of starting operations, following the opening of 10 new outlets across the country.
The latest expansion covers Lucknow and Agra in Uttar Pradesh, Udaipur and Ajmer in Rajasthan, Chennai and Puducherry in Tamil Nadu, Navi Mumbai and Pune in Maharashtra, and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.
The company said its retail network now spans 65 cities across 12 states. It aims to increase the number of showrooms to 150 by the end of 2026 and more than 200 by March 2027.
Aravind Mani, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of River Mobility, said the company was strengthening its retail and service ecosystem to expand customer access while maintaining service standards and improving the ownership experience.
The expansion is supported by the company’s USD 120 million Series C funding. River is investing in its retail and service infrastructure to increase the availability of its flagship electric scooter, Indie.
The company’s showrooms offer product demonstrations, test rides, bookings, accessories and merchandise, along with service support.
River Mobility has also begun its international retail expansion with its entry into Kathmandu, Nepal.
The River Indie is available for test rides and bookings at the company’s showrooms and through its website.
