RSK Business Solutions Highlights Technology Opportunities Under UK-India Trade Agreement

Indian technology services company RSK Business Solutions participated in the UK-India CETA Marketplace in Mumbai on October 13, highlighting opportunities for greater business collaboration following the implementation of the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).

The event brought together UK government representatives, seven mayors from northern England and more than 100 British companies to discuss potential commercial opportunities under the agreement.

CETA came into effect on July 15, 2026, according to the company. The agreement provides for tariff liberalisation across a range of goods traded between the two countries, while closer economic ties are expected to create opportunities for services and technology businesses.

Areas of potential collaboration include software development, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing and digital transformation. Indian technology companies could explore partnerships with UK businesses in software modernisation, systems integration and enterprise technology services.

Praveen Joshi, managing director of RSK Business Solutions, said the agreement could support collaboration in software engineering and digital transformation, adding that successful partnerships would depend on technical expertise, reliable execution and solutions tailored to business requirements.

The CETA Marketplace brought together organisations from sectors including advanced manufacturing, clean technology, healthcare, financial services, education and infrastructure. Participation from businesses across different parts of the UK also highlighted opportunities to expand commercial engagement beyond established business centres.

For technology companies, the discussions underscored the importance of aligning technology investments with operational needs, while prioritising security, system reliability and long-term business outcomes.
