Air India, the country’s leading global carrier, has announced the launch of non-stop flights between Delhi and Manila, starting October 1, 2025. With this, Air India becomes the only airline to operate direct flights between India and the Philippines, enhancing connectivity and fostering tourism, trade, and cultural ties between the two nations.
The service will operate five times a week — on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays — using Airbus A321neo aircraft, offering Business, Premium Economy, and Economy Class options.
The announcement follows the Philippines’ recent move to allow visa-free entry for Indian tourists for up to 14 days, making it more convenient for Indian travellers to explore destinations such as Boracay, Palawan, and Cebu.
“This new route is another step in our mission to connect India with more of the world, non-stop,” said Campbell Wilson, CEO & MD, Air India. “With outbound travel from India growing rapidly, this direct link will help expand cultural and economic collaboration between the two countries.”
In 2023-24, bilateral trade between India and the Philippines reached USD 3.53 billion, nearly double that of 2015-16, highlighting the economic significance of this route. The new service will also offer seamless one-stop connections to Europe via Delhi, enhancing Air India’s global network.
