S8UL creator Joker Ki Haveli has raised around ₹4.85 lakh through a charity livestream for flood relief efforts in Nepal and has continued relief activities in flood-affected areas of Assam.
The charity livestream, organised with the creator’s community, raised approximately NPR 7.71 lakh for communities affected by floods in Nepal. Other S8UL creators also contributed to the initiative.
Following the fundraising campaign, Joker Ki Haveli travelled to flood-affected villages in Assam, including Simaluguri, Polokhoni (Banmukh) and Bamunpukhuri (Gogainbari), to support relief activities.
As part of the ongoing efforts, the creator is contributing towards the construction of seven houses for families whose homes were damaged by floods. The initiative also includes the distribution of essential supplies such as food and mattresses to affected communities.
The relief activities extend beyond immediate assistance, with the housing initiative aimed at supporting families during the rehabilitation and recovery phase.
The Nepal fundraiser also brought together viewers, fellow creators and members of the gaming and esports community. According to S8UL, the campaign demonstrated how online creator communities can be mobilised to support disaster relief efforts.
Joker Ki Haveli said the fundraising effort was intended to provide support to people affected by the floods, while the continued work in Assam focuses on helping families recover from the impact of the disaster.
S8UL is a Mumbai-based gaming and esports organisation involved in competitive gaming and content creation across multiple titles.
