TeamTrace has launched FieldTrace, a GPS-based workforce management platform designed to help businesses manage and monitor field employees through AI-enabled tools and real-time operational insights.
The platform is aimed at organisations with distributed field teams across sectors such as FMCG, logistics, healthcare, facility management, telecom, utilities and sales. According to the company, FieldTrace combines workforce monitoring, attendance management, task tracking, expense management and location-based insights on a single platform.
FieldTrace includes features such as GPS-based attendance, geofencing, face recognition for identity verification, AI-assisted route planning and real-time location spoofing detection. The company said the platform also supports offline attendance, visit logging and task updates, with data synchronising automatically once internet connectivity is restored.
TeamTrace said the platform has been developed to address operational challenges faced by businesses managing large field workforces, including improving workforce visibility, reducing manual processes and supporting data-driven decision-making.
Amitabh Roy, Founder of FieldTrace, said businesses increasingly require workforce management systems that verify attendance and field activities in addition to tracking employee locations. He added that the platform has been designed to help organisations improve operational transparency and efficiency through AI-based verification and real-time field intelligence.
With the launch of FieldTrace, TeamTrace said it is expanding its portfolio of workforce management solutions for frontline and deskless employees. The company expects the platform to help enterprises improve compliance, streamline field operations and support faster decision-making using real-time workforce data
