Raymond Limited is strengthening its personalised menswear segment with the introduction of technology-enabled tailoring services at its Ghaziabad outlet, amid rising demand for customised apparel and premium retail experiences.
The company said it is integrating artificial intelligence (AI)-based measurement tools and digital fabric-selection systems to streamline the made-to-measure process. These tools are aimed at improving fitting accuracy and reducing delivery timelines compared to conventional tailoring methods.
The Ghaziabad store will offer a curated range of fabrics, including premium and eco-friendly options, as part of Raymond’s broader strategy to cater to evolving consumer preferences. Customers will be able to access an end-to-end tailoring experience—from fabric selection to final fitting—with delivery timelines compressed to a few days.
Mukesh Goel, Managing Director, said demand for personalised clothing is increasing, driven by consumer expectations around speed, quality, and customisation. He added that the company is combining traditional tailoring expertise with digital tools to enhance the customer experience.
The move aligns with Raymond’s ongoing efforts to expand its presence in urban markets witnessing higher disposable incomes and shifting fashion preferences. The company has been focusing on scaling its made-to-measure offerings as part of its premiumisation strategy.
