TiE launches Raipur chapter, eyes startup support and investment facilitation

The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) has launched its Raipur chapter, expanding its network presence into Chhattisgarh as part of efforts to support the state’s startup ecosystem.

The launch event, held in Raipur, saw participation from entrepreneurs, investors, industry representatives, and academicians, according to the organisers.

TiE Raipur will be led by President Manish Mohta and President-Elect Abhinav Khandelwal. The chapter plans to support startups through mentorship, access to investor networks, and structured engagement platforms.

The organisation said it aims to support over 100 startups annually and facilitate investments in the range of ₹100–300 crore over the next three years.

“Chhattisgarh has entrepreneurial potential, but access to structured networks and capital remains limited. The chapter aims to address these gaps through a more connected ecosystem,” Khandelwal said.

TiE Raipur will operate through multiple forums, including initiatives focused on student entrepreneurs, women founders, technology-led ventures, and early-stage investing.

TiE, a global non-profit organisation, supports entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking, education, funding and incubation across multiple geographies
