Noida International University Holds Educators’ Meet in Durgapur

Noida International University organised an Educators’ Meet in Durgapur, West Bengal, aimed at strengthening academic engagement and collaboration with education professionals.

The event, held at Hotel Citi Residenci, saw participation from academicians and representatives from educational institutions in the region.

Dr. Akash Sharma, Director – Admissions & Outreach at the university, attended as the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries present included Dr. Tapash Ghosh, Mr. Shoumick Chaudhary, Dr. Deb Das, Mr. Bhanu Pratap Singh and Mrs. Shampa Rai.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sharma spoke about the evolving role of education in nation-building and the importance of inclusive and future-ready learning systems. He said education must focus on critical thinking, ethics, adaptability and equal access to ensure long-term societal development.

According to the university, the programme was coordinated by Ankur Sharma, Tarun Pratap Singh, Prasenjit Kumar Mandal and Chandan Singh.

The university said the meet provided a platform for discussions on academic partnerships, emerging education trends and student-centric approaches.
