ITE Group’s First India Roadshow Strengthens SME Trade Bridge Between India and Russia

ITE Group, one of the world’s leading exhibition organisers, has successfully concluded its first-ever India Roadshow, marking a major milestone in strengthening India–Russia SME trade collaboration. Held in New Delhi and Mumbai in September under the theme Business Beyond Borders, the initiative aimed to deepen engagement between Indian exporters and Russian import markets across key sectors including pharmaceuticals, processed foods, electronics, construction materials, interiors, and packaging.

Led by Dmitry Zavgorodniy, CEO of ITE Group, and Katerina Filunets, General Manager, ITE Dubai, the roadshow was supported by leading Indian trade bodies, government agencies, and export councils. Over 200 Indian companies participated across the two cities, with brand showcases from FICCI, Colourbar Cosmetics, TCPL Packaging, Kajaria Ceramics, SAIL, NDDB, and others.

The event underscored the opportunity for Indian SMEs to play a central role in bridging demand from Russia and the CIS region with India’s strong manufacturing capabilities. According to ITE Group, bilateral trade between India and Russia has already crossed USD 72 billion, yet India’s export contribution remains comparatively modest. The roadshow’s key objective was to build a structured, year-round ecosystem that connects Indian producers directly with verified buyers.

Delegates were introduced to ITE Connect, the group’s digital platform enabling ongoing buyer-seller engagement, intelligent lead matching, and enhanced global visibility. ITE forecasts that the number of Indian SMEs participating in Russia-based exhibitions will triple within three years, driven by increasing demand for Indian-origin pharmaceuticals, processed foods, and industrial materials.

The success of the India Roadshow marks the beginning of ITE’s long-term commitment to the Indian market, with plans for deeper partnerships, trade facilitation, and sustained SME engagement across the Russia–CIS corridor.
