Noida International University Becomes First in India to Sign MoU with World Education Services

In a historic milestone, Noida International University (NIU) has become the first university in India to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with World Education Services (WES), the globally trusted credential evaluation body.

The agreement positions NIU as the first Indian institution to offer WES-recognized programs, granting its degrees international acceptance for higher studies, employment, and immigration—subject to individual credential evaluations.

This collaboration ensures that NIU students and alumni can seamlessly apply for WES credential evaluations, enhancing the global credibility of their qualifications in top education destinations such as the USA and Canada.

Expressing pride in this achievement, Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh, Chairman of NIU, said, “It is a matter of pride for the university and the country to be a part of the world’s well-known organization, WES. This partnership validates the academic quality and ensures that students have seamless access to international universities, job markets, and immigration pathways.”

The partnership gives NIU graduates a passport to global opportunities by making their qualifications more readily recognized by foreign academic institutions and employers. Since WES evaluations are often required for visa processes and overseas employment, NIU students will now face fewer barriers while pursuing education and careers abroad.

With over 50 years of expertise, WES brings unmatched credibility to this initiative, further strengthening NIU’s global reputation and marking a major leap in academic globalization for Indian higher education.
