The Chief Minister of Rajasthan inaugurated the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) for the Amet tehsil in Rajsamand district. This initiative represents a major milestone in the digitization and modernization of land records in Rajasthan, aimed at enhancing transparency, accuracy, and accessibility in land management systems.
The virtual inauguration, attended by several dignitaries and officials, was celebrated during a grand event at the Amet tehsil headquarters. MLA Shri Surendra Singh Rathor, who presided over the event, emphasized the importance of the project in empowering farmers and landowners. He stated that the initiative would ensure accurate, accessible, and transparent land records, addressing long-standing challenges and benefiting rural communities significantly.
In his virtual address, Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma reaffirmed the government’s commitment to utilizing technology to improve public services. He described the initiative as a step forward in establishing Rajasthan as a leader in digital governance and said it would empower citizens by providing seamless access to land records and ensuring fairness in land ownership.
The project was executed by Arahas Technologies, led by CEO Mr. Saurabh Rai, utilizing advanced technologies such as the establishment of a Ground Control Network, cutting-edge survey tools, and digital data integration. Mr. Rai expressed pride in being part of the project, noting that it highlights how innovation can drive social and economic progress.
The event included the presentation of updated maps, digitized land ownership records, and boundary adjustments for over 600 villages in the Amet tehsil. This modernization ensures precise land measurements, simplifies administrative processes, and significantly reduces disputes over land ownership.
This initiative aligns with the Rajasthan government’s broader vision of empowering citizens and fostering a “Samriddh Kisan, Khushhaal Kisan” (Prosperous Farmer, Happy Farmer) environment. Citizens also received their updated digital land records during the event.
The launch of this program signals a new era of digital transformation in Rajasthan and sets an example for other states in India to emulate.
