Air India Express has been ranked among India’s top four brand movers in October 2026 by YouGov BrandIndex, reflecting improvements across five consumer perception metrics, the airline said on Monday.
The airline recorded gains in Buzz, Reputation, Recommend, Consideration and Current Customer, according to its statement. YouGov BrandIndex tracks consumer perceptions of brands across multiple categories.
Air India Express attributed the improvement to its focus on customer experience, fleet modernisation and network expansion. It said more than two-thirds of its fleet comprises new aircraft and that its Net Promoter Score, a measure of customer willingness to recommend a brand, has improved.
The airline has also introduced initiatives such as its Tales of India aircraft tail art programme and Gourmair, its inflight dining service featuring Indian cuisine.
Air India Express began rolling out its largest-ever winter schedule on October 25, with plans to progressively increase operations to around 585 daily flights, including approximately 435 domestic and up to 150 international departures.
The expanded schedule will strengthen connectivity across India and destinations in South, Southeast and West Asia, the airline said. Its network covers 48 domestic and 17 international destinations, according to the company.
The brand ranking reflects changes in consumer perception and does not, by itself, measure overall airline service quality or operational performance.
