Fuji Oil Asia cuts product information lead time by 10-15% using Centric PXM

Fuji Oil Asia Pte. Ltd., the Asia-Pacific regional headquarters of Fuji Oil Group, has reduced the time spent on retrieving product information and preparing presentations by 10-15% after implementing Centric Software’s product experience management (PXM) platform, according to a customer success story released by Centric Software.

Based in Singapore, Fuji Oil Asia coordinates raw material procurement, sales and application development for 11 group companies across the Asia-Pacific region. The company supplies plant-based food ingredients to business customers serving a range of food applications.

According to the company, managing product content became increasingly challenging as its regional operations expanded, with local sales and marketing teams relying on manual processes to access technical documentation and application recipes.

To streamline content management, Fuji Oil Asia adopted Centric PIM (Product Information Management) and Centric DAM (Digital Asset Management), which form part of Centric PXM, an AI-powered product experience management platform.

Katsuhiro Nagayama, Director in Charge of Corporate Planning at Fuji Oil Asia, said the company sought a solution that could manage complex product data for the food industry while avoiding extensive custom IT development.

The platform now centralizes product specifications and application recipes, enabling teams and distributors to access approved content from a single source. Nagayama said the implementation reduced information retrieval and presentation preparation lead times by 10-15% and helped lower the risk of outdated product specifications reaching customers.

The company said the system also enables sales enablement materials for new product launches and seasonal campaigns to be distributed to distributors across the Asia-Pacific region within seconds.
