Galgotias University has received the “Excellence in Industry-Aligned Curriculum and Employability” award at the 36th Elets World Education Summit 2026, recognising its efforts to align academic programmes with industry requirements and enhance graduate employability.
The award was presented by Dr. Rabindra Narayan Behera, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) and member of the IIT Council, among other parliamentary and government committees.
The recognition follows the university’s recent honour at the Times Now Education Summit 2026, where it received the “Excellence in Industry-Aligned Curriculum & Student Entrepreneurship Ecosystem” award. That award was presented by Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya.
Galgotias University integrates industry expertise into its curriculum through collaborations with organisations including Accenture LearnVantage, IBM, L&T EduTech, Tata Technologies, Microsoft and byteXL. Its Centres of Excellence, advanced laboratories and entrepreneurship initiatives provide students with opportunities to apply classroom learning to practical challenges and develop business ideas.
Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of Galgotias University, said the recognitions would encourage the institution to deepen industry integration and create more opportunities for students to build careers and pursue entrepreneurship.
The university offers programmes across engineering, artificial intelligence, computer science, business, law, health sciences and other disciplines. According to the institution, its students secured more than 5,500 job offers from over 1,250 recruiters in 2026.
The university said the award reinforces its focus on practical learning, emerging technologies and closer collaboration between academia and industry.
