Course commencing in August 2026 aims to equip students with skills in financial technology, data analytics, blockchain and digital finance

The University of Wollongong (UOW) India has opened applications for its Master of Financial Technology (FinTech) programme, with the next intake scheduled to commence on August 3, 2026.
According to the university, the 1.5-year programme is designed to provide students with advanced knowledge in finance, technology and data analytics, preparing them for careers in the rapidly evolving financial services sector.
Offered at UOW India’s campus in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), the programme covers areas including blockchain, digital payments, financial data analytics and regulatory technology. The curriculum combines theoretical learning with practical applications and industry engagement, the university said.
The programme is available in both full-time and part-time formats. Eligibility includes a recognised bachelor’s degree with a minimum average of 50 per cent or equivalent qualifications. Applicants with relevant professional experience and competitive examination scores may also be considered.
The application deadline is July 31, 2026. The university said eligible students may also apply for scholarships, including merit-based, high-achiever, early-bird and women leaders scholarships.
Graduates may pursue careers in business analysis, financial technology, compliance, cybersecurity, blockchain development and investment analysis, among other fields, according to the university.
