
University of Wollongong India has opened applications for its Master of Computing (Applied Artificial Intelligence) programme, with the next intake scheduled to begin in August 2026.
The 1.5-year programme is designed to equip students with advanced skills in artificial intelligence, machine learning and data analytics, with a focus on real-world applications. It aims to prepare graduates for roles in emerging technology domains, including automation, predictive analytics and intelligent systems.
The course will be delivered from the university’s campus at GIFT City, positioned as a financial and technology hub. The curriculum combines theoretical learning with hands-on exposure to industry-relevant challenges.
According to the university, the programme offers flexible study options, allowing both full-time and part-time enrolment. Working professionals can opt to complete one to two subjects per trimester while continuing their careers.
Eligibility includes a recognised three-year bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Candidates with relevant professional experience may also be considered. Applicants are required to meet English language criteria, including an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent.
The application deadline is July 31, 2026, with classes commencing on August 3, 2026. The tuition fee is approximately AUD 27,900 (around Rs 18.7 lakh). The university is offering multiple scholarships, including merit-based and early-bird discounts, as well as a dedicated scholarship for women in fintech, data analytics and AI.
Graduates are expected to find opportunities across roles such as data analyst, data engineer, systems analyst and software solutions architect.
