University of Leeds Opens Applications for MSc in AI for Business for Indian Students

University of Leeds has opened applications for its MSc in AI for Business programme, aimed at equipping students with artificial intelligence and business strategy skills to address evolving industry needs.

The postgraduate programme is designed to combine advanced AI concepts with real-world business applications, preparing graduates to work at the intersection of technology, analytics and strategy. The university said the course focuses on areas such as machine learning applications, data-driven decision-making, digital strategy and AI-enabled innovation, along with ethical and governance frameworks.

According to the university, the curriculum is delivered through research-led teaching, supported by its expertise in AI, analytics and business transformation. Students will also gain exposure to industry use cases and business environments, given Leeds’ position as a hub for data, fintech and digital industries in the UK.

Eligibility and Course Details:
Applicants must hold a 3–4 year bachelor’s degree with a first-class or equivalent academic record. Candidates from all academic backgrounds are eligible to apply. Indian applicants are required to submit an official grading scale from their institution for evaluation.

The programme will commence in September 2026 and has a duration of one year. Applications are currently open, with early submissions encouraged due to high demand.

Language and Fees:
Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency with an IELTS score of 6.5 overall, with no component below 6.0, or an equivalent qualification. The tuition fee is £33,000 (approximately ₹40.5 lakh).

Scholarships and Careers:
The university said Indian students may be eligible for International Excellence Scholarships, along with country-specific awards and fee reductions.

Graduates are expected to pursue roles such as AI business consultant, data and analytics manager, digital transformation specialist, product manager, strategy and innovation lead, and business intelligence analyst across sectors including consulting, finance, technology, healthcare and manufacturing.
