Mineski Events Team and Vizta have announced the Moba Legends: 5v5! Master Series (MLMS), described as India’s first official publisher-backed national tournament for the multiplayer online battle arena game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
The organisers said the tournament will feature a structured competitive pathway including open qualifiers, a league stage, and a grand LAN finale, aimed at strengthening the MOBA esports ecosystem in India.
The winner of the MLMS will represent India at the Esports World Cup 2026, marking the first time Indian Moba Legends talent will qualify for the global competition through an official national pathway.
Registrations for the tournament opened on March 10 and will remain open until March 19, with the first 256 teams eligible to compete in the open qualifiers scheduled from March 23 to March 30. The qualifiers will begin with a single-elimination bracket before transitioning into best-of-three matches as the competition progresses.
The top two teams from the qualifiers will advance to the league stage, to be held from April 5 to April 26, where they will join six invited teams in a single round-robin format. The top six teams from the league stage will then compete in the MLMS Grand Finals, scheduled as a LAN event from May 9 to May 10.
The tournament will offer a prize pool of ₹46 lakh, with the winning team earning the title of inaugural MLMS champion and the opportunity to represent India internationally.
Commenting on the announcement, Tiger Xu said the series aims to create a competitive pathway for Indian MOBA players, enabling talent from across the country to compete nationally and potentially reach the global stage.
Raye Chong said the initiative reflects growing interest in the game among Indian players and is intended to integrate India more closely into the global MOBA esports ecosystem.
Mineski Events Team has previously supported major tournaments within the Mobile Legends ecosystem, including the Mobile Legends M7 World Championship in Indonesia.
