S45 launches AI-led investment banking platform for India’s IPO market

S45 on Tuesday announced the launch of what it claims is Asia’s first AI-enabled investment banking platform, aimed at modernising IPO execution across India’s SME and Main Board markets.

Founded by Deepank Bhandari, Pankaj Harlalka, Aman Singh and Tushar Sharma, the platform seeks to replace legacy, manual IPO processes with a unified, real-time operating framework. S45 said the system integrates automation, predictive analytics and governance tools to improve efficiency, transparency and pricing discipline throughout the IPO lifecycle.

According to the company, Indian IPO processes continue to rely heavily on spreadsheets, email-based disclosures and fragmented coordination, despite growth in market size and investor participation. The S45 platform integrates IPO readiness assessment, eligibility verification, DRHP and disclosure management, valuation modelling, SEBI query handling and investor demand analytics into a single AI-driven system.

Commenting on the launch, Deepank Bhandari, Co-Founder of S45, said India’s capital markets have expanded significantly, but execution infrastructure has not kept pace. He said the platform introduces data-driven governance, real-time visibility and predictive intelligence into IPO execution, enabling issuers to move towards greater precision and regulatory confidence.

The platform also supports post-listing performance tracking and investor relations planning. S45 said it has execution experience across sectors including aerospace and defence, automotive, chemicals, consumer goods, energy, financial services, healthcare, industrials, technology, agriculture, education and hospitality.

Since its pilot phase, S45 has supported 26 IPOs across multiple sectors, facilitating capital raises of ₹1,120.8 crore and generating investor bids worth ₹3,64,719 crore, the company said. These IPOs recorded an average subscription of 168.4 times and an average listing gain of 43.1 percent, it added.
