Noida International University Hosts YMCI Producer Battle Fest, Showcasing Youth Creativity

The School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC) at Noida International University (NIU) hosted the YMCI Producer Battle Fest, a music production competition designed to highlight youth creativity and original music-making. The event drew a crowd of more than 3,000 students.

The fest provided a platform for young music producers from Delhi NCR to present their original beats and interact with professionals from the entertainment industry. Notable participants and performers included Radha Bhatt, Sid Sharma, Raj Mehta, Arun Singh Chaudhary, Ashish Jha, Adam, Ghaatak, and CrackenBeats, who engaged the audience with their live performances.

Chancellor Dr. Vikram Singh said the university aims to nurture platforms that promote innovation and artistic expression among students. Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Uma Bhardwaj highlighted that the initiative strengthens academic–industry collaboration by giving students exposure beyond the classroom.

Film producer Ketki Pandit attended as the special guest, offering students insights into the creative processes shaping the entertainment sector.

Dr. Aarfa Rajput, Dean of SJMC, delivered the vote of thanks, noting that the event celebrated collaboration, creativity, and confidence among young talent.

With such industry-linked initiatives, NIU and SJMC aim to enhance students’ creative skills, communication abilities, and professional readiness.
