Air India Express, India’s first international value carrier, continues its robust expansion by adding Nagpur to its growing domestic network and launching new international connections to Abu Dhabi.
Starting December 1, 2025, the airline will operate twice-daily flights between Nagpur and Bengaluru, strengthening connectivity between central and southern India. A day later, on December 2, 2025, Air India Express will introduce four weekly flights between Delhi and Abu Dhabi and three weekly flights between Pune and Abu Dhabi, further enhancing its footprint in the Gulf region.
The addition of Nagpur reinforces the airline’s presence in Maharashtra, where it already operates over 130 weekly flights from Mumbai and 90 from Pune. The airline will soon begin operations from Navi Mumbai, connecting the new airport to key cities such as Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.
These new routes complement Air India Express’ expanding network from Bengaluru, now operating over 530 weekly flights, and Delhi, which connects to 25 domestic destinations along with services to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Muscat.
The expansion comes alongside the airline’s ‘Xplore More, Xpress More’ campaign and the introduction of refreshed Boeing 737-8 interiors, offering enhanced comfort, in-seat charging, hot ‘Gourmair’ meals, and upgraded lighting.
Through initiatives like ‘Tales of India’, Air India Express continues to showcase India’s rich art and cultural heritage across its fleet.
