River Mobility, the Bengaluru-based electric scooter manufacturer, has once again made India proud on the global stage by winning the prestigious Red Dot Product Design Award 2025 for its flagship electric scooter, Indie.
This achievement follows River’s Red Dot Design Concept Award 2024, making it the only Indian two-wheeler brand to have received accolades in both Concept and Product Design categories in consecutive years.
Designed for versatile urban mobility, the Indie electric scooter stands out with its robust yet user-friendly design. It offers 43 litres of under-seat storage and 12 litres in the front compartment — the highest in its class. Other key features include lock-and-load pannier stays for customizable luggage options, Safeguards that protect the body during falls, twin-beam headlamps, a distinctive tail lamp design, and front foot pegs for enhanced comfort and utility.
