In a heartfelt gesture to make students feel at home during the festive season, Annapurna Girls Hostel organized a special celebration titled “Diwali with Daughters.” The initiative aimed to bring warmth, togetherness, and festive joy to residents who were unable to travel home for Diwali.

Located near leading institutions such as Sharda University, Noida International University, Amity University, and Galgotia University, Annapurna Girls Hostel transformed its premises into a vibrant celebration space decorated with diyas, rangolis, and lights. Students participated in diya-making, rangoli design, and cultural activities, creating a festive and inclusive atmosphere.

The celebration concluded with a community dinner featuring traditional sweets and festive dishes shared among residents, wardens, and management. A collective diya-lighting ceremony symbolized hope, positivity, and new beginnings.

Kunwar Gaurav Giri, Chairperson of Annapurna Girls Hostel, said, “Many of our students come from far-off places and can’t go home during festivals. ‘Diwali with Daughters’ is our way of ensuring they feel cared for and connected. Annapurna is not just accommodation—it’s their second home.”

The initiative reflected Annapurna’s ongoing commitment to promoting well-being, safety, and emotional comfort for its residents, nurturing a sense of sisterhood and belonging within the hostel community.
