Fabric-focused apparel brand Wellbi has added fintech company Zerodha to its corporate client base, supplying 1,150 T-shirts for its employees.
The order marks Wellbi’s expansion in the corporate apparel segment, where it counts companies from the technology, financial services and hospitality sectors among its clients.
Karthik Rangappa, Chief of Education at Zerodha, said he had been using Wellbi products before recommending the brand for the company-wide order. He cited colour retention, shape after washing, fit and breathability among the qualities of the T-shirts.
Wellbi was founded in Mysuru in 2021 by Supreeth Kashyap. The company develops bamboo-cotton fabric blends and has expanded its product range beyond T-shirts to include polos, performance wear, innerwear and women’s apparel.
According to the company, its corporate client base includes Meta, Adobe, Cisco, Amazon and JW Marriott, among others.
Wellbi also sells directly to consumers through its website and online marketplaces such as Amazon and Myntra. The company said its combined sales across these channels have crossed Rs 1 crore in monthly revenue.
Kashyap said the company aims to make corporate apparel that employees continue to use beyond workplace events.
The Zerodha order adds to Wellbi’s corporate apparel business as the company continues to expand its product range and distribution channels.
