Road Safety Campaign Launched at The Lexicon International School Kalyani Nagar, Prominent Leaders Join In

The Lexicon International School, Kalyani Nagar, has launched the ‘#NOCompromiseOnRoadSafety’ campaign in collaboration with Pune Times Mirror and Vilas Javdekar Developers. This initiative aims to raise awareness and promote responsible road behavior to ensure safer streets.

Distinguished personalities including Mr. Pankaj Sharma, President of The Lexicon Group of Institutes and Chairman & MD of Pune Times Mirror, joined the event alongside Mr. Amitesh Kumar, Commissioner of Pune Police, and other notable figures.

Mr. Sharma highlighted the school’s commitment to excellence and education, emphasizing the campaign’s goal to foster conscientious road behavior. He acknowledged Commissioner Kumar’s leadership and the importance of promoting road safety.

The campaign plans to extend its reach across eastern Pune through workshops organized by Viman Nagar Women’s Club, Women’s Club Kharadi, and Sri Shakti.

Mr. Aditya Vilas Javdekar, CEO of Vilas Javdekar Developers, echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the company’s focus on prioritizing people’s well-being.

Commissioner Amitesh Kumar stressed the need for media collaboration in awareness campaigns, while Deputy Commissioner Rohidas Pawar expressed optimism about the initiative’s impact on traffic violations.

The event concluded with a Q&A session where Lexicon Schools students engaged with Commissioner Amitesh Kumar on road safety and enforcement strategies, demonstrating the collective commitment to prioritize road safety in Pune.
