Synchrony Celebrates Diversity and Inclusion at the Global Diversity Experience India 2024

Hyderabad, India, May 17, 2024 – Synchrony, a leading consumer financial services company, concluded its annual India Global Diversity Experience at District 150, Hyderabad. The event brought together over 150 employees from Synchrony’s Regional Engagement Hubs across India for a day of collaboration and interaction.

The Global Diversity Experience 2024 aimed to foster lasting connections and provide a platform for employees to engage in meaningful conversations with colleagues and leaders from Synchrony’s eight Diversity Networks, Health360, and Citizenship teams. The event featured networking opportunities, a community service initiative, and panel discussions with Synchrony leaders.

A highlight of the event was the keynote address by Major Vandana Sharma, an ex-army officer, entrepreneur, and senior HR professional, who shared valuable insights with the attendees.

In collaboration with the Youngistaan Foundation, Synchrony employees participated in a community service event, packing 190 education kits for school-going children and adolescents in urban slums. The kits included essential items such as school bags, water bottles, stationery boxes, snack boxes, notebooks, nutrition bars, and other materials to support the students’ well-being.

This year’s theme, United in Purpose – Changing Tomorrow, Today, emphasized the company’s commitment to bringing together diverse voices and perspectives to achieve the strongest outcomes.
