Padma Bhushan Awardee Dr. N. Rajam Presides Over Convocation Ceremony at VijayBhoomi University

New Delhi, April 4th, 2024: VijayBhoomi University, India’s pioneering liberal professional institution, celebrated its 4th convocation ceremony on campus, with Padma Bhushan awardee Dr. N. Rajam gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. Rajam, a renowned Solo Violinist and a legend in the field of music, joined the university’s President, Mr. Sanjay Padode, and Board Member Ms. Kalpana Padode in presiding over the ceremony. The event witnessed the presence of distinguished guests including members of the Governing Body, Board of Management, Academic Council, Administrative Staff, and Parents.

Amidst the jubilation, the spotlight shone on successful graduates, with Pokharkar Pratiksha Raju receiving the True School of Music’s Dean’s medal and Thadathil Nicole Julian being felicitated with the Dean’s Appreciation certificate.

Congratulating the graduating students, Padma Bhushan Awardee Dr. N. Rajam shared words of wisdom, “Firstly, I would like to congratulate students for graduating from such a prestigious institution as Vijaybhoomi University. This certificate that you hold is very valuable and reminds me of my college days when I received my degree, and I cherish those memories. Reflecting on my own journey, I’ve come to realize that learning music is both easy and difficult for various reasons, but if you practice rigorously, it gives you the utmost satisfaction and peace. Just keep chasing your dreams and never stop working towards your goals. I wish you all a lot of success wherever you will be in your life ahead. May you be victorious!”

Addressing the fresh graduates, Mr. Sanjay Padode, President, Vijaybhoomi University said, “It gives me immense happiness to see our 4th batch graduating today. I personally know so many students from the previous batches who are doing wonders in their lives. The last year for Vijaybhoomi University, has been a year of growth in terms of adding capabilities and fostering meaningful partnerships that I am sure has benefitted each one of us. Moving forward, my primary advice to you all is that consistency without fail is crucial. If you are consistent and a continuous learner, you will always grow wiser and excel in life. I would like to end by congratulating all the graduates and their families on behalf of our entire university.”

Throughout the year, Vijaybhoomi University’s six schools achieved remarkable milestones. Notable highlights include initiatives such as ‘Brand Karjat’ by the Jagdish Sheth School of Management, the success of students at the True School of Music, internships secured by students at the School of Science & Technology, debating accolades earned by students at the School of Law, and an outstanding exhibition hosted by the School of Design, showcasing student works in various creative domains.
