Distinguished Figures Set to Grace The Golf Foundation’s 15th Invitation Fundraiser Tournament

New Delhi, March 20th, 2024 – The Golf Foundation (TGF) is gearing up for its highly anticipated 15th Invitation Fundraiser Tournament, scheduled to take place on March 29th, 2024, at the prestigious Delhi Golf Club. The event, dedicated to supporting underprivileged young golfers, is poised to welcome an impressive lineup of distinguished guests and renowned golf icons.

Among the notable personalities slated to attend are cricket legend Mr. Kapil Dev, Mr. Amitabh Kant, CEO of NITI Aayog, Ms. Nandini Gupta, who clinched the title of Miss India World 2023, Mr. Pawan Munjal, Chairman, Hero MotoCorp (subject to his hosting the Indian Open), and Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi.

The Golf Foundation (TGF), a registered charitable society established in 2000, has been steadfast in its mission to nurture golfing talent from underprivileged backgrounds. Recognized for its exemplary efforts in sports promotion, TGF was bestowed with the esteemed “Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar” by the President of India in 2017.

In addition to its charitable endeavors, TGF has recently undertaken the adoption of Jindali village in Punjab, where children play with “sarias,” and has extended support to 15-year-old Harsh Singh, a hearing and speech-impaired golfer who holds the top spot in the Junior category of the IGU Feeder tour. Furthermore, five talented youngsters have been selected to represent India at the Asia Pacific Junior tournament in Tokyo from April 17th to 21st.
