Shimla, 09th February 2024: Skye Air Mobility, a pioneering SaaS-based autonomous logistics solution provider in India, has announced a strategic partnership with the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bilaspur, to conduct a groundbreaking trial aimed at revolutionizing healthcare deliveries in Himachal Pradesh. This collaborative effort seeks to leverage cutting-edge drone technology to expedite the transportation of medical supplies across diverse terrains.
The trial will feature Skye Air’s flagship drone model, StarLiner, equipped with temperature-controlled boxes to ensure the safe and prompt delivery of vital medical supplies. By harnessing the capabilities of autonomous drones, Skye Air aims to address logistical challenges and enhance healthcare accessibility in remote areas of Himachal Pradesh.
In addition to deploying state-of-the-art drone technology, Skye Air will utilize its advanced Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) software system, known as ‘Skye UTM.’ This innovative system facilitates seamless coordination with multiple Air Traffic Controls (ATCs) in both rural and urban environments, further solidifying India’s commitment to becoming a global leader in the drone industry by 2030.
