Women’s wellness platform Yoginii has conducted awareness sessions on menstrual and mental health for around 200 girls in Delhi through its CSR initiative ‘Saheli: The Yoginii Circle’, the company said.
Launched in September 2025, the programme focuses on creating safe spaces where girls and women can discuss health-related issues and access basic wellness education.
According to the company, the initiative has organised four sessions so far, including three sessions with adolescent girls aged between 13 and 15 in NGO communities and a special session for elderly women held to mark International Women’s Day.
The sessions cover topics such as menstrual health, nutrition, mental well-being, movement and breathwork. The programme is designed to be interactive, encouraging participants to ask questions and engage in discussions rather than follow a lecture-style format.
Commenting on the initiative, Kashika Malhotra, Founder and CEO of Yoginii, said the programme aims to build confidence and promote informed health choices among women and girls.
She said that improving awareness about the body, nutrition and mental well-being can enable women to take charge of their health and create wider awareness within families and communities.
The initiative also addresses issues such as limited early education around menstruation, stigma associated with mental health, and gaps in understanding everyday nutrition and healthy food habits, particularly in underserved communities.
Looking ahead, Yoginii plans to expand the Saheli programme to more communities in 2026, including women working in informal sectors such as factories and construction sites. The organisation also intends to hold one session every month to continue outreach at the grassroots level.
The company said the community-led model of ‘Saheli: The Yoginii Circle’ could be adapted across NGOs, schools and other underserved spaces to support health awareness among women.
