In a first-of-its-kind initiative, WOArchitect has announced WCC 2025 (WOArchitect Career Conclave), India’s first dedicated career conclave for architects. Scheduled to take place on June 14, 2025, at NESCO, Mumbai, the event aims to provide structured guidance and career pathways for architecture professionals, students, and industry stakeholders.
The conclave will be inaugurated by Shri Narayan Rane, Member of Parliament and former Union Cabinet Minister, highlighting the national importance of this pioneering event.
Curated by architects Ar. Milind Surve and Ar. Snehal Jagdale Surve, co-founders of WOArchitect and Directors at Alternate Angle, the event seeks to address a significant gap in the architecture ecosystem—lack of support for career development beyond design training.
“Architects often struggle to find structured career guidance. WCC is a platform where professionals can explore new opportunities, engage with experts, and make informed decisions about their careers,” said Ar. Milind Surve.
The one-day conclave will run from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and include:
- Keynote sessions by industry leaders
- Expert-led seminars and panel discussions
- A job fair with walk-in interviews
- A higher education showcase featuring top institutions
Speakers include noted names like Ar. Hrishikesh Phadke, Ar. Rupali Gupte, Ar. Makarand Toraskar, and Ar. Amol Shimpi MRICS, who will share insights across technology, education, research, legal frameworks, and architectural management.
“WCC is more than an event—it’s a movement to reshape the professional journey of architects in India,” said Ar. Snehal Jagdale Surve.
WOArchitect currently serves over 15,000 members via its online platform and is now stepping into physical engagement to foster real-world networking and career growth.
Registrations are open for architects, students, educators, employers, and institutions.
