Walplast Products Pvt. Ltd., a manufacturer of building and construction materials, has received the GreenPro Ecolabel certification for five products under its HomeSure GypEx gypsum range.
The certification, awarded by the CII Green Products and Services Council, is valid until December 2027 and recognises products that meet environmental and sustainability standards.
The certified products include HomeSure GypEx Machine Spray Plaster, Expert Silver Plus Plaster, Expert Silver Plaster, Expert Platinum Plaster and Expert Kwik Set (Jointing Compound). All five products are manufactured at the company’s Bharuch facility in Gujarat.
According to the company, the GreenPro Ecolabel assesses products on factors such as responsible sourcing of raw materials, resource-efficient manufacturing, environmental impact, lifecycle performance and compliance with sustainability standards. The certified products can also contribute towards green building certification systems such as IGBC and LEED.
The recognition was presented during the GreenPro Summit 2026 held in Pune on July 30-31, where Walplast showcased its sustainable manufacturing practices and green building solutions.
Walplast said the certification strengthens the credibility of its gypsum product portfolio by demonstrating compliance with recognised environmental standards. The company added that the certified products can support customers pursuing sustainable construction, resource-efficient building practices and environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals.
Founded in 2004, Walplast Products is a subsidiary of DryChem India Pvt. Ltd. The company manufactures wall putty and other construction materials through 25 manufacturing units and exports its products to more than 23 countries under the HomeSure brand.
