Vashi Integrated Solutions plans 22 solar distribution marts across 10 states

Vashi Integrated Solutions Ltd plans to establish 22 Vashi Marts across 10 states in the first phase by FY27, aiming to strengthen last-mile distribution and procurement for India’s rooftop solar sector.

The counter-format distribution network will provide solar equipment, installation essentials and technical support closer to installers, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.

The first phase will cover Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Uttarakhand and Odisha. Locations will be selected based on installer demand and rooftop solar market potential.

The initiative comes amid growing demand for rooftop solar installations, supported by government programmes such as the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. The company aims to address procurement challenges faced by installers, including fragmented sourcing and inconsistent product availability.

Each Vashi Mart will offer access to solar products and installation materials, supported by the company’s wider distribution and warehousing network. Through its DigiServe digital procurement platform, installers will be able to check inventory across locations, place orders, track deliveries and access product catalogues and technical information.

The network will primarily cater to residential rooftop solar installers, while also serving small commercial and industrial rooftop projects. Larger commercial and industrial requirements will be fulfilled through the company’s distribution infrastructure.

Suraj Dodeja, Managing Director and Group CEO of Vashi Integrated Solutions, said the initiative aims to improve access to solar products and technical support by combining local inventory, digital ordering and distribution capabilities.
