Troop Messenger, an Indian enterprise messaging and collaboration platform, has introduced two new AI-driven features aimed at improving workplace communication and productivity. The latest updates include AI Smart Responses and Instant File Summaries, available across Android, iOS, desktop, and web platforms.
The AI File Summary feature allows users to quickly view key highlights of shared documents directly within the chat window, without opening the file. This enables teams to understand reports, proposals, and technical documents faster while ensuring that data remains secure within the Troop Messenger ecosystem.
The AI Smart Responses feature offers contextual reply suggestions during conversations, helping users respond quickly when time is critical. Users retain full control, with the option to edit, select, or ignore the suggested responses based on their preference.
Both features are designed with enterprise security and user control as priorities and can be enabled or disabled according to organisational policies. Troop Messenger stated that the platform is evolving into an AI-native collaboration solution tailored for Indian enterprises and government bodies, positioning itself against global players such as Microsoft Teams and Slack.

Troop Messenger is a Make-in-India enterprise messaging platform offering end-to-end encryption, multi-factor authentication, SAML-based single sign-on, Zapier integrations, REST APIs, and both cloud-based and on-premise deployment options. The company confirmed that additional AI features are currently under development.
