Tiger Analytics, Bihar Govt Sign MoU to Set Up Mega AI Centre of Excellence

Tiger Analytics on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Bihar to establish a Mega Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence (AI CoE) in the state.

The agreement was signed at the India-AI Impact Summit 2026 organised by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). Officials said the proposed centre aims to create one of India’s largest AI ecosystem hubs focused on talent development, research, innovation and responsible AI adoption.

The AI CoE will be developed in collaboration with Indian Institute of Technology Patna as the knowledge partner, along with other ecosystem stakeholders. It is expected to support AI research, infrastructure development, citizen services and large-scale upskilling programmes for students, professionals and government officials across Bihar.

As the designated industry partner, Tiger Analytics will design and deliver AI training initiatives, undertake applied research aligned with the state’s development priorities, and develop AI-driven solutions for public institutions and governance.

Tiger Analytics CEO and Founder Mahesh Kumar said the initiative aims to build long-term research and deployment capabilities in Bihar and position the state as a contributor to India’s AI growth.

Bihar’s Information Technology Minister Shreyasi Singh said the state’s AI mission seeks to ensure wider access to AI-driven opportunities and strengthen governance through technology-led interventions.

Tiger Analytics also participated in the Bihar Pavilion at the AI Impact Expo, showcasing applications of AI in public systems.

The proposed centre is expected to support Bihar’s efforts to strengthen its digital infrastructure and workforce readiness amid India’s expanding AI ecosystem.
