TiE Delhi-NCR will host the 15th edition of India Innovation Day (iDay) 2026 in Gurugram on May 15, bringing together founders, investors, policymakers, corporate leaders and technology stakeholders to discuss emerging trends in innovation and entrepreneurship.
The event, formerly known as India Internet Day, will be held at The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel & Residences under the theme ‘Audacity of Now’.
According to the organisers, the summit is expected to witness participation from over 1,000 delegates and focus on sectors including artificial intelligence, DeepTech, D2C, biotechnology, quantum computing, space technology and Bharat-led innovation.
The event comes amid rising activity in India’s startup ecosystem, with over 55,200 startups recognised during FY 2025-26 and DeepTech funding reportedly increasing 37 per cent to $2.3 billion.
Speakers at the summit will include Pragya Misra, Ankur Warikoo, Sunil Kant Munjal, Deep Kalra, Vivek Raghavan and other industry leaders.
The organisers said discussions will focus on indigenous AI infrastructure, language models, strategic technologies, public-private collaboration, AI-led decision-making and scaling consumer-focused businesses.
“India’s innovation story has moved from promise to performance. iDay 2026 is about bringing the right people into the same room at the right moment,” Upasana Sharma, Executive Director of TiE Delhi-NCR, said in a statement.
The summit will also feature the 14th edition of TiE The Knot, a live startup investment platform where founders pitch to investors. According to TiE Delhi-NCR, more than ₹110 crore has been committed to startups through the initiative across previous editions.
In addition, the event will host ‘Future Frames’, an AI-focused short film showcase highlighting storytelling using AI tools and technologies.
The organisers said the event is supported by multiple industry and ecosystem partners, including OpenAI ecosystem participants, venture capital firms, technology companies and innovation organisations.
