
The LaLiT Ashok Bangalore is celebrating Dasara with ‘Dasara Oota – A Taste of Karnataka’s Festive Soul’, a 15-day culinary experience at its all-day dining restaurant, 24/7, from October 5 to 20.
The festive dinner buffet showcases traditional Karnataka cuisine, bringing together regional flavours and time-honoured recipes. The spread includes Mysuru Rasam, Hesarubele Kosambari, Bisi Bele Bath, Mysuru Vangi Bath, Puliyogare and Badnekayi Yennegai.
Guests can also savour Avarekalu Gojju, Majjige Huli, Mysuru-style Mutton Saaru, Chicken Sukka and Mysuru-style Fish Curry. Traditional desserts include Mysore Pak, Obbattu (Holige), Shavige Payasa and Chiroti with Badam Milk.
“Dasara is a time when food becomes an expression of tradition, togetherness and celebration. With Dasara Oota, we have brought together flavours that reflect Karnataka’s diverse culinary heritage, while staying true to the warmth and authenticity of festive home-style cooking,” said Chef Shahul Hameed, Executive Chef, The LaLiT Ashok Bangalore.
The experience will feature channel music and will be available from 7 PM to 10:30 PM, priced at ₹2,100++ for in-house guests.
