The Himalayan School, in collaboration with The Kuliah Academy, has announced the opening of its first hybrid campus in Bahrain, marking a major milestone in its mission to make global education accessible, affordable, and future-ready.
The new campus blends the strengths of digital and physical learning. Students will have access to interactive online courses, abundant digital resources, and on-site experiences such as workshops, labs, and cultural events. This approach ensures not only academic excellence but also the development of essential life skills and cross-cultural awareness.
Currently, The Himalayan School’s student body includes learners from South Africa, the Netherlands, China, the UAE, and Serbia — with nearly 30% of students coming from international backgrounds. The Bahrain expansion strengthens this global learning ecosystem by offering Gulf students an opportunity to join a vibrant, multicultural academic community.
Speaking about the milestone, Sharmin Habib, Head of Business at The Himalayan School, said:
“This expansion to Bahrain is more than a geographical step forward, it is a reaffirmation of our vision for borderless education. By fusing top-notch digital learning with hands-on experiences, we are preparing students for higher education and future careers with a strong global perspective.”
The partnership with The Kuliah Academy represents the beginning of a broader vision. The Himalayan School aims to continue creating affordable, accessible, and internationally relevant education systems worldwide, equipping students with knowledge, practical exposure, and global outlook.
