The Great Indian Fitness Carnival to be held in Gurugram on January 31–February 1

Ashiana Housing Ltd. has announced its association as sponsor for the Gurugram edition of The Great Indian Fitness Carnival (TGIFC), a two-day fitness event for children organised by FitBuds in association with the Fit India Movement. The event will be held at Tau Devi Lal Stadium on January 31 and February 1 from 10 am to 6 pm.

Around 7,000 children are expected to take part in sports and fitness activities during the carnival, which is designed to promote physical activity through play and interactive experiences. The event will feature over 20 activity zones, experiential stalls, races, games, and entertainment segments aimed at encouraging children to view fitness as an enjoyable part of daily life.

Children from Ashiana Housing’s kid-centric residential communities will also participate in various races and activities. The company said the partnership aligns with its focus on developing environments that support children’s physical, emotional, and social well-being.

One of the key attractions will be India’s Biggest Kids Obstacle Race, featuring age-appropriate challenges focused on agility, balance, and coordination. The event will also introduce “The Grind Race”, described as a structured obstacle-based fitness format designed specifically for children. In addition, families can attend workshops and talks by fitness experts and educators on healthy habits and active lifestyles.

Ashiana Housing Joint Managing Director Ankur Gupta said the initiative supports the company’s philosophy of encouraging active and community-oriented childhoods. FitBuds Founder Aditya Kedia said the platform aims to combine sports science and child psychology to make fitness engaging for children.
