Siddha Sejal Group Partners With Skye Air to Launch Mumbai’s First Residential Drone Delivery Infrastructure

Siddha Sejal Group has signed a strategic partnership with Skye Air, India’s largest drone delivery company, to introduce Mumbai’s first residential drone delivery infrastructure at the Siddha Sky project in Wadala. The collaboration was formalized through an MoU signed by Siddha Group Director Samyak Jain, Sejal Group Director Dhirraj Gada, and Skye Air Founder & CEO Ankit Kumar.

As part of the initiative, Skye Air will install its first Skye-Pod at Siddha Sky, enabling residents to receive daily essentials, packages, and e-commerce orders via drones beginning in the first quarter of 2026. The designated Skye-Pod zone inside the complex will facilitate safe and seamless parcel collection. Skye Air drones can travel 1 km in just 60 seconds and operate over a 30 km range, ensuring rapid doorstep delivery.

The partnership aims to enhance convenience while reducing traffic congestion and carbon emissions by shifting a share of last-mile deliveries off Mumbai’s busy roads. According to Capt. Eshaan Khullar, Vice President, Skye Air, Mumbai handles more than 5 lakh last-mile deliveries daily, stretching existing logistics systems. Drone-enabled delivery, he said, offers a faster, safer, and more sustainable alternative.

Leaders from all three organisations highlighted the initiative as a major step toward tech-enabled, sustainable urban living. With its Skye Ship One drone capable of carrying 10 kg, and its AI-driven UTM and Skye Tunnel corridor systems, Skye Air aims to set new benchmarks in smart logistics. The company currently delivers over 200,000 monthly shipments across NCR and works with partners such as Bluedart, Flipkart, and Shiprocket.

The move positions Siddha Sky as one of Mumbai’s earliest adopters of drone-powered smart city infrastructure.
