
Sheffield Hallam University has invited applications for its MSc International Business Management programme for the January 2027 intake.
The one-year full-time programme is aimed at students seeking to develop knowledge and practical skills in international business, strategy and management. The curriculum covers areas including international strategy, cross-cultural management, global entrepreneurship, international trade, global sourcing, international investment and multinational enterprises.
The programme also focuses on research and analytical skills, project management, leadership, intercultural communication, negotiation, sustainability and responsible business. The university said the course has been developed with input from industry specialists and incorporates contemporary business issues.
Teaching includes lectures, seminars, guest sessions, simulations, presentations and individual and group supervision. Students can also access postgraduate career development activities such as leadership programmes, management workshops, CV support and career management initiatives.
Applicants are generally required to hold a good bachelor’s degree from an approved institution, preferably in a business-related discipline. Relevant professional qualifications and specified diplomas may also be considered, subject to the university’s eligibility criteria.
The programme is scheduled to begin in January 2027, with applications closing at the end of November 2026. The duration is one year and the stated tuition fee is £18,600.
The English language requirement is an IELTS score of 6.5 overall, with at least 6.0 in each skill, or an accepted equivalent.
The university also offers scholarships for eligible Indian students. Students may gain industry exposure through guest lectures, consultancy projects, careers events, networking opportunities and potential field visits.
Graduates can pursue roles in areas such as business development, market research, business analysis, marketing, purchasing and supply chain management, consulting, account management, product management and project management.
