Seniors Fashion Show at the 6th ASLI Ageing Fest: Redefining Ageing with Style, Grace and Confidence

The Seniors Fashion Show, the showstopper event at the 6th ASLI Ageing Fest, sent out a strong message: ageing is not about retreat but about renewal, confidence, and celebrating life with style.

Held at The Lalit, Mumbai, the show featured seniors confidently walking the runway, proving that life after 60 is an opportunity to embrace fresh beginnings, build deeper connections, and express individuality without hesitation.

A Blend of Heritage and Modern Style
This year’s showcase drew inspiration from Maharashtra’s cultural traditions, reimagined with contemporary haute couture. Women dazzled in Met Gala-inspired looks merging timeless drapes with modern glamour, while men made an impact in couture with digital peacock feather prints, accessorised with the regal Peshwa pagdi, blending tradition with modern elegance.

Celebrating Reinvention
Sponsored by Paranjape Schemes, the event highlighted the idea of ageing as a phase filled with dignity, confidence, and opportunity. Mr. Shashank Paranjape’s presence underscored the organisation’s commitment to senior living communities that foster joy, creativity, and purpose.
