River Mobility Rolls Out 20,000th Indie Scooter Amid Rapid Retail and Production Expansion

lectric vehicle manufacturer River Mobility has marked a major milestone with the rollout of its 20,000th Indie scooter from its Hoskote manufacturing facility in Karnataka. The achievement comes less than two years after the company’s launch and just six months after crossing the 10,000-unit mark, reflecting rising demand, expanding retail reach, and increased production capacity.

The company recently introduced the Indie Gen 3 and expanded its presence into North India with a company-owned store in Delhi. River is now preparing for its next phase of growth, focusing on widening its dealer network, launching new products, and strengthening manufacturing capabilities to meet rising demand from urban commuters.

River’s Hoskote facility continues to serve as the backbone of its production operations, enabling the brand to scale efficiently while maintaining quality standards. The growing facility supports close to 40 retail stores across India and will play a key role as the company enters new markets and increases output to support national expansion.

Commenting on the milestone, Aravind Mani, Co-founder and CEO of River Mobility, said, “Achieving the 20,000-Indie milestone in just under two years is a clear sign that our customers see value in what we’re building, and it reflects the trust our dealer principals have placed in us. As we expand to more cities and scale up production at our factory, we remain committed to improving the experience for every rider.”

River continues to consolidate its position in South India, with steady growth across Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Coimbatore. The company is now gearing up to expand into Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat, building on its strong retail momentum.
