PM Narendra Modi to Inaugurate SEMICON® India 2025 in New Delhi on September 2

The fourth edition of SEMICON India 2025, the country’s largest semiconductor and electronics show, will be inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on September 2, 2025, at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention and Expo Centre), New Delhi.

This flagship event will bring together delegates from 33 countries, over 50 global CXOs, 350 exhibitors, and more than 50 eminent speakers, highlighting India’s growing role as a global semiconductor hub.

Under the Semicon India program, 10 strategic projects have been approved across fabs, compound semiconductors, OSATs, and advanced packaging. Over 280 academic institutes and 72 startups have been equipped with advanced design tools, while 23 startups have already been approved under the DLI scheme—driving innovations in areas like microprocessors, navigation chips, motor controllers, and CCTV systems.

Organized by SEMI in collaboration with the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM), MeitY, this year’s theme “Building the Next Semiconductor Powerhouse” will spotlight industry trends in fabs, AI, sustainability, smart manufacturing, design, and supply chain resilience.

The three-day event will feature country roundtables, panel discussions, fireside chats, workforce development pavilions, and international pavilions, with participation from top global companies including Applied Materials, ASML, IBM, Infineon, Micron, SK Hynix, Siemens, Tata Electronics, and more.
