Pinkathon, India’s largest women’s run, has announced the 6th edition of Pinkathon Hyderabad, scheduled for February 15, 2026, at People’s Plaza. This year, the event partners with Zydus Lifesciences Ltd. to strengthen nationwide breast cancer awareness efforts.
Founded by actor and fitness advocate Milind Soman in 2012, Pinkathon has grown into a major women-centric movement promoting fitness, preventive health, and empowerment. Over the years, it has engaged more than five lakh women, enabled free breast screenings, and raised funds supporting cancer patients across India. The 2025–26 season will take place across Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, and Delhi.
The Hyderabad edition introduces a diverse lineup of mascots representing various distances — from 3 km to ultradistances — including cancer survivors, visually impaired runners, endurance athletes, and mothers, symbolising inclusivity and community strength.
Speaking at the press conference, Milind Soman said, “Pinkathon is a celebration of women choosing their health and wellbeing. With Zydus, we aim to deepen awareness about early detection and self-care.”
The event also highlighted the presence of Invincible Women, a movement founded by Ankita Konwar to encourage women in endurance running. She noted that the collaboration aims to inspire women to prioritise their health and learn the importance of monthly breast self-exams.
Zydus’ Easiest Exam campaign, which promotes a simple three-minute self-check to support early detection of breast cancer, aligns strongly with Pinkathon’s mission. Doctors at the event emphasised that early screening remains critical to improving survival outcomes.
Supported by partners such as Park Hyatt, Fujifilm, Sirona, Lotus Herbal, and Fit India, Pinkathon continues to grow as a platform uniting fitness, awareness, and women’s wellbeing.
