OptiValue Tek has secured a multi-million dollar government order for defence technology, marking a key step in its expansion into indigenous, AI-driven national security solutions.
The contract, awarded through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), involves deployment of advanced sensing and detection systems aligned with the company’s Integrated Counter-UAV Defence System (ICUDS), according to a company statement.
ICUDS is an AI-powered counter-drone platform designed to detect, track and neutralise aerial threats, including autonomous and radio-frequency silent drones. The system integrates multiple technologies such as RF intelligence, acoustic detection and electro-optical surveillance to enable real-time threat identification.
The company said the platform is intended for deployment across defence and security environments, including army and naval operations, where rapid response to aerial threats is critical.

Ashish Kumar, Founder and Managing Director of OptiValue Tek, said the order validates the company’s focus on building indigenous defence technologies aligned with the government’s self-reliance initiative.
The development comes amid increasing use of unmanned aerial systems and the need for advanced countermeasures to protect critical infrastructure and strengthen operational readiness.
OptiValue Tek said its entry into defence technology reflects a broader strategic shift towards AI-led, mission-critical systems aimed at supporting national security and next-generation innovation.
