OnePlus has joined forces with leading Indian esports organization Gods Reign to power their journey in the ongoing Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2025, which features a staggering ₹2 crore prize pool. The strategic partnership, facilitated by Times One (part of Times OOH), marks a significant step toward building an innovation-led esports ecosystem in India.
As part of the collaboration, Gods Reign will leverage OnePlus’s premium gaming devices, known for high performance, thermal efficiency, and extended battery life—key factors in competitive gaming. The team, fresh off their victory in the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6 (bagging ₹50 lakh), is gearing up for another title run at BMPS with 95 other top teams in contention.
“This partnership with OnePlus marks a significant milestone for our team,” said K R Rohith, CEO and Co-founder of Gods Reign. “We’re proud to align with a brand that shares our hunger for innovation and excellence.”
OnePlus will also involve pro players in its product development cycle, using their feedback to optimize real-world gaming performance. According to Kanishka Singh, Head of Gaming Business at Times One, the collaboration signifies esports’ growing influence and cultural relevance in India.
The FICCI-EY 2025 report predicts a rise in esports brand investments from 68 to 75 this year, alongside a surge in player participation to 2.8 million. In this rapidly evolving arena, the OnePlus-Gods Reign partnership sets a benchmark for performance-driven brand-team synergies.
