Noida International University (NIU) recently celebrated its 15th Foundation Day, marking a journey of academic excellence, innovation, and community building. The event, held on August 10, 2025, brought together faculty, students, alumni, and distinguished guests in a grand celebration of achievement and vision.
Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh, Chairman of NIU, congratulated the university community for their role in shaping the institution. “Over these years, we have established a university where knowledge, innovation, and inclusivity flourish. As we celebrate this milestone, our vision is to elevate NIU onto the global stage, where our students emerge as leaders, innovators, and responsible citizens,” he said.
The event was graced by Dr. Vikram Singh, Chancellor of NIU, who delivered the chief guest address. Emphasizing NIU’s motto, “Building a Legacy of Excellence and Innovation,” he said the university is committed to fostering global collaborations, advancing interdisciplinary learning, and equipping students with employability and entrepreneurial skills.
Prof. (Dr.) Uma Bhardwaj, Vice Chancellor of NIU, underlined the university’s focus on building 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. “Together, we can make NIU a thought leader in India’s education sector, driving the evolution of a world-class education system,” she added.
As part of the celebrations, NIU honored outstanding faculty and staff with the Best Researcher Award, Best Teaching Staff Award, and Best Non-Teaching Staff Award. The event also featured vibrant cultural performances by students, showcasing the university’s diverse talent.
Marking 15 years of growth, the Foundation Day reaffirmed NIU’s vision to create future-ready leaders while upholding its values of knowledge, innovation, and integrity.
